Empirically consistent 'calculable' quark mass matrices derived from the 'flavour democratic' basis
Description
New kinds of 'calculable' quark mass matrices derived from the 'flavour democratic' basis consistent with the present KM phenomenology are presented. They predict the values of |Vub|/Vcb and -arg(Vub) in the ranges of 0.08∼0.09 and 150deg∼160deg (20deg∼30deg) and 0.07∼0.09 and 135deg∼150deg (30deg∼45deg) respectively. (author)
