Quasielastic final state interaction in K- absorption at rest in 12C
Creators
- 1. Dept. of Physics, Univ. of Mumbai, Mumbai (India)
Description
It is argued that, since the kinetic energy of the final state particles, p and Λ in the (K-, pΛ) reaction is around 150 MeV, the single nucleon knock-out by these particles from the recoiling nucleus can play an important role, and shift their invariant mass considerably. This issue has been examined using computer simulations
