The analytical application of charged particle induced x-ray emission method

Description
The application of the charged particle induced x-ray emission method for the chemical analysis of samples of different origin is reported. Selenium and vanadium concentrations in atmospheric aerosol particles collected in rural sites of Hungary are determined. PIXE analysis of micro and macroelement concentration of food samples of different protein contents gives aid to answer how the protein content influences the radiation resistence of samples. Selenium contents of different biomedical samples are also investigated. (D.Gy.) 3 refs.; 1 tab
