Ureas in organic synthesis. 9. Reaction of arylmethylenebisureas with sodium tetrahydroborate: a one-stage way to symmetric dibenzyl-ureas
Description
By the methods of PMR- and IR spectroscopy it has been ascertained that boiling of arylmethylenebisureas with NaBH4 in alcohol results in the formation of symmetric dibenzeneureas. Interaction of benzylidenebisurea with NaBH4 in DMFA at 160 deg C mainly provides perhydro-2-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dion
