Kinetics of Ba2+, Cu2+, Y3+ sorption on complexing cationite KRF-10p

Description
Kinetics of Ba2+, Cu2+ and Y3+ ions sorption on complexing cationite KRF-10p in H+-form from aqueous solutions of barium and copper chlorides and from yttrium nitrate respectively was studied, depending on temperature and concentration of hydrochloric and nitric acids. It was ascertained that under experimental conditions diffusion of particles inside cationite grain is the phase controlling the sorption process. Values of diffusion factors and apparent energies of the diffusion process activation are calculated using the equation of intradiffusion kinetics
Abstract (Russian)
Исследована кинетика сорбции ионов Ba2+, Cu2+ и Y3+ на комплексообразующем катионите КРФ-10п в Н+-форме из водных растворов хлоридов бария и меди и нитрата иттрия соответственно в зависимости от температуры, а также концентрации соляной и азотной кислот. Установлено, что в условиях эксперимента стадией, лимитирующей процесс сорбции указанных ионов, является диффузия частиц внутри зерна катионита. С использованием уравнения внутридиффузионной кинетики рассчитаны значения коэффициентов диффузии и кажущихся энергий активации диффузионного процессаAdditional details
