Complex copper(2) and zinc(2) tetrafluoroborates of nitrogen-containing organic bases

Description

Complex copper and zinc tetrafluoroborates with nitrogen-containing organic bases - 8-hydroxyquinoline, benzimidazole, benzotriazole - were synthesized. Composition of prepared compounds was determined. The state of BF4- in synthesized complexes was characterized on the basis of data of IR spectroscopic analysis. Differential thermal analysis was conducted, and the mechanism of thermal transformations of complex tetrafluoroborates was discussed
