Pulse radiolysis and drug design
Description
The applications of radiation chemistry to model the redox activation of drugs are illustrated. The authors indicate how pulse radiolysis provides the means to generate specific fuel radicals in known concentrations and to monitor their reactions directly. This can provide quantitative information of value in drug design and understanding drug action. (UK)
