Description
By using 10.6 μm infrared CO2 laser radiation, measurement of steady TP-D plasma has been carried out with interferometry and scattering method. Electron density of TP-D plasma was normalized by Rayleigh scattering of pure air as a measuring standard. Measured electron density by interferometry and scattering method as a function of discharge current shows fairly good agreement. (author)
