Spacelike axial-gauge Feynman rules: A consistent nonambiguous derivation

In addition to ambiguities in the propagator definition, the axial gauge nxA = 0 is known to suffer from a fundamental inconsistency. We give here a nonambiguous approach to the Feynman rules to be used in the axial gauge. This gauge appears as the limit for a critical value of consistent theories to which the Becchi-Rouet-Stora quantization scheme and all its consequences can be applied. The poles at nxk = 0 are automatically regularized but not by the usual controversial principal-value prescription. Ghost loops get a priori nonvanishing contributions, which, up to now, have been overlooked
