Samarkand complex facility for study on extensive air showers at the energy > 2x1014 eV

Description
The Samarkand installation is described for investigating extensive air showers with energies of > 2 x 1014 eV. The installation contains 15 fast scintillation detectors and 11 Cherenkov detectors. Amplitude converters with LC-integrating circuits enable one to integrate signals from shower particles even from maximal distances (120 m) with an accuracy of better than 5%
