Behaviour of forming interfacial crud with zirconium and irradiated 30% TBP

Description
The behaviour of forming interfacial crud with zirconium and irradiated 30% TBP is investigated. The formation of interfacial crud depends on the dosage of irradiation, the concentrations of zirconium and nitric acid, system temperature and so on. The experimental results show that the quantity of interfacial crud increase with increasing of the dosage of irradiation and the concentration of zirconium, and the increment of the concentration of nitric acid depress the formation of interfacial crud. The higher temperature is, the bigger formation rate of interfacial crud is. The infra-red spectra of the interfacial crud with variant conditions are analyzed
