Rapid gas-thermochromatographic separation of Mo neutron-deficient isotopes from silver chloride

Description
The influence of the temperature and composition of gas on the separation of ultra-micro amount of molybdenum from the irradiated silver chloride melt has been investigated. The dependence of these parameters on the formation of volatile compounds of various composition and their distribution in the thermochromatographic column are discussed. The method for the rapid separation of Mo neutro-deficient isotopes from silver chloride irradiated with high-energy protons has been suggested. (orig.)

Der Einfluss von Temperatur und Gaszusammensetzung auf den Extraktionsprozess von Molybdaenmikromengen aus einer Schmelze von bestrahltem Silberchlorid wird untersucht. Die Wirkung dieser Parameter auf die Bildung fluechtiger Molybdaenverbindungen verschiedener Zusammensetzung und ihre Verteilung in der thermochromatographischen Kolonne wird diskutiert. Ein Verfahren zur schnellen Abtrennung neutronenarmer Molybdaenisotope aus Silberchlorid, das mit Protonen hoher Energie bestrahlt wurde, wird dargelegt. (orig.)
