Temperature stability and magnetizing behaviour of sintered Nd-Dy-Fe-Co-Mo-Al-B-magnets

  • 1. Vacuumschmelze GmbH, Hanau (Germany)

Description

A partial substitution of Nd by Dy and of Fe by Co and Mo improves the temperature stability of Nd-Fe-B-magnets. The coercivity is determined by nucleation of reversed domains. Complete magnetization requires a magnetizing field strength of at least 20 kA/cm (25 kOe). Maximum operating temperatures up to 200degC may be possible. (orig.)
