Time dependent electric quadrupole interaction at 181Ta in cubic crystals observed by perturbed angular correlations
Description
This paper reports the finding of a time-dependent electric quadrupole interaction at 181Ta nucleus in cubic crystals observed by perturbed angular correlation measurements. The obtained values of tausub(c)ω2sub(Q) in HfC, HfCo2 and HfFe2 have little dependence on temperature and are 0.77, 0.90 and 0.31x106/s, respectively. All of the examined models for the interaction failed to interprete the experimental results, so far
