Uranium recovery from aluminium scraps

Description

A procedure for uranium recovering from U/Al fuel elements scraps is presented aiming its refabrication. The process is based on alkaline dissolution followed by and acid dissolution. TBP solvent extraction is used for the final purification. (author)
