Siemens/KWU: Design and experience
Description
During the Consultants Meeting an extended verbal presentation was given, the content of which is concentrated in the following by commenting the overhead slides shown during that presentation (and some others). Additionally reference is made to publications, which describe the control principle, which has up to now - with only slightly modifications - been proved during 20 years in 13 German and foreign PWR NPP. Other references report about load-follow capabilities, which can be reached using this control principle combined with a 'local core protection function' - which consists of some - four-fold redundant, qualified - 'Limitation Systems', which have the same 20 years of operational experience
