Preparation of /sup 113m/In radiopharmaceuticals
Description
This brief review points out some interesting applications of /sup 113m/In, a radionuclide possessing very attractive features, mainly ready availability, pure gamma emission (but with a high degree of internal conversion), versatility, production of stable radiopharmaceuticals, and ease of processing. The rather long useful life of the indium generator has made it valuable to certain laboratories, particularly those in less accessible areas. For all these reasons, /sup 113m/In should be considered a leader in the diagnostic armamentarium and a radionuclide with great potential for development
