Laser optogalvanic spectroscopy for hyperfine structure studies of La I

Description
High-resolution Doppler-limited laser optogalvanic spectroscopic experiments were conducted in a La/Ne hollow-cathode discharge to study the hyperfine structure of some of the allowed transitions of neutral 139La. The magnetic-dipole coupling constants (A) for 21 levels were calculated. The A constants for the levels x4Dcirc3/2, z4Scirc3/2, x4Dcirc7/2, u2Fcirc5/2 are being reported, we believe, for the first time
