J/ψ and ψ' production at CDF
Description
This paper presents measurements of the J/ψ and ψ' production cross sections in pp collisions at √s = 1.8 TeV. The cross sections are measured in the kinematic region PT > 5 GeV/c, |η| < 0.6 using the dimuon decay channel. The fraction of events from B decays is measured and used to calculate the J/ψ and ψ' cross sections from B decay. The fraction of J/ψ events from χc decays is also measured and used to calculate the J/ψ cross section from direct production. 11 refs., 5 figs., 1 tab
