Generalized vector-meson dominance and high energy electron-proton inelastic scattering
Description
A generalized vector-meson dominance model which takes into account higher mass contributions is applied to the case of high energy electron-proton inelastic scattering. Our model accounts for the scaling behaviour as well as the q2 dependence of the virtual photon-proton cross section σT and the longitudinal-transverse ratio R in the diffraction region.
