The mystery of the missing neutrinos

The author describes the reactions which are assumed to go on in the sun and expected neutrino flux. He describes the experiment used to detect the presence of neutrinos and the results which are not incompatible with zero neutrino flux. Finally he discusses in an elementary way possible reasons for the results.
