Description
The experience of applying licensing procedures in relation to the construction of the first dry spent fuel storage facility (XOT-2) in the Russian Federation is described, including the process of review of the licence application, the outcomes of the review process and the implications for the revision of the licence application. Particular attention is paid to issues related to providing assurance of the safety of the planned facility. (author)
