Description

The management of patients with a variety of ailments can produce many complications which have an imprint on the musculoskeletal system. The complications of orthopedic surgery, in particular, can readily be detected by radiological means. It should be appreciated, however, that problems arising after treatment are not necessarily the result of poor management and that numerous variations exist in the responses of treated patients. Some undesirable events are inherent in the underlying disorder and may progressively worsen despite optimal medical care
