Yrast and high spin states in 22Ne

Description
High spin states in 22Ne have been investigated by the reactions 11B(13C,d) 22Ne and 13C(11B,d)22Ne up to E* approximately=19 MeV. Yrast states were observed at 11.02 MeV (8+) and 15.46 MeV (10+) excitation energy. A backbending in 22Ne is observed around spin 8+. The location of high spin states I<=10 is discussed in terms of the rotational band structure, Strutinsky type calculations, and pure shell model predictions. (Author)

Investigam-se os estados de alto spin no 22Ne atraves das reacoes 11B (13C,d) 22Ne e 13C (11B,d) 22Ne ate E* aproximadamente=19 MeV. Observam-se estados de Yrast a energias de excitacao de 11.02 MeV (8+) e 15.46 MeV (10+). Observa-se um 'backbending' no 22Ne em torno do spin 8+. Discute-se a posicao dos estados de alto spin I<=10 em termo da estrutura de banda rotacional, calculos do tipo strutinsky e provisoes do modelo de camadas puro. (L.C.)Files
