The advantages of the directional photoemission method (with angular resolution) for investigating solid surfaces are examined, the light source envisaged is the synchrotron radiation. Some applications are exposed: study of lamellar compounds, transition metals (surface states), and adsorbats

On examine les avantages de la methode de photoemission directionnelle (ou resolue angulairement) pour l'etude des surfaces solides, la source lumineuse envisagee etant le rayonnement synchrotron. On expose quelques applications: etudes de composes lamellaires, de metaux de transition (etats de surface) et enfin d'adsorbats
