Description

The HTR-Module is designed as an unsophisticated, safe and economic heat source for various applications. The reactor can be coupled without major modifications to a steam generator for the production of steam and power or to steam reformers or intermediate heat exchangers for the direct use of nuclear heat. Due to its special design the HTR-Module achieves an extremely high passive safety level. This allows its erection at industrial sites in populated areas. (author)
