Alternative evalutions of HRA data sources

Creators

  • 1. John Wreathall ampersand Co., Inc., Dublin, OH (United States)

Description

Numerous efforts have been expended on trying to develop and derive data for use in human reliability analysis (HRA) studies for use in probabilistic risk assessments (PRAs). Some continue today. However, few have considered explicitly the relationships between the data being gathered, the kinds of failures of concern in the HRA models, and the circumstances in which the errors are important in the PRA setting. Recently, development of a framework has emerged that can relate these different issues to allow consideration of the relevance of data sources to HRA needs
