Description
The water diffusion into plastics by means of autoradiography was studied. Tritiated water diffused into glass fibre inforced polyester resin specimens under different conditions. Using a specially developed tritium autoradiography method the depth distribution of the diffused water can be determined. The autoradiograms were evaluated by the DENSITRON 4 image analyzer. The technique of evaluation is described and the results are discussed. (author)
