Production of double neutral vees at 100 and 175 GeV/C

Production of K/sub s/0K/sub s/0 has been studied in π-p collisions at the Fermilab Multiparticle Spectrometer. Various enhancements in the K/sub s/0K/sub s/0 mass spectra are observed. Angular distributions of the K/sub s/0K/sub s/0 system decays are presented. Cross-sections for K/sub s/0K/sub s/0 production in various semi-inclusive final states are presented and compared with data at other energies. It is shown that the cross-section for the semi-inclusive reaction π- x p → K/sub s/0K/sub s/0 + neutrals varies strongly with incident pion energy and can be fitted to the form sigma/sub semi-inclusive/ = Ae/sup -ap/ beam, where A = (30.03 +- 1.88)μb, and a = (0.042 +- 0.008) (GeV/c)-1
