Solvent extraction of tellurium tetrabromide by alkanes, alkenes and aromatic hydrocarbons
Description
The classification of processes of tellurium tetrabromide extraction by hydro carbons with different structures, is made. Molecular form TeBr4 is extracted by alkanes and their halogen derivatives cymbately with the increase of extracting agent solvating ability. Aromatic hydrocarbons form π-complexes, whose logarithms of distribution coefficients are linearly connected with alkylbenzene ionization potentials. Unsaturated hydrocarbons extract tellurium mainly in the form of organic tellurium compounds
