Criticality safety
Description
The paper concerns criticality safety in nuclear reactors. The principal factors affecting criticality are discussed and include: type of nuclide, moderation, enrichment, reflection, density, shape, neutron absorbers and interaction. Criticality data and its applications, as well as nuclear safety assessment, are also described. (U.K.)
