Experience of dry contamination of building structures and equipment

Description

A technology is described of polymer coatings for dry (wasteless) decontamination and isolation of surfaces from radioactive contamination. The technology was widely applied in rooms of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd power units and in buildings of Pripyat' town. It was shown, that by means of removed coatings it is possible to decontaminate surfaces up to limiting permissible levels. 4 refs
