Inslusive processes in hadron- nucleus collisions as a test for quark-parton model

Description

It is shown that hadron-nucleus collisions enable to determine whether mesons and baryons consist of two or three spatially separated quarks respectively. Relationships are derived for inclusive spectra of secondary particles a in the N + A → a + x and π + A → a + x reactions. The range of momentum values is estimated in which the relationships are valid
