Description

The interest in application of e-beam accelerators to eliminate microbiological contamination is increasing worldwide. The advantages of irradiation process using machine sources (e-beams or X-rays) make it applicable to disinfect medical devices, food products, cultural heritage object, plant growth substrates etc. This work demonstrates the evolving application of e-beam disinfection process.
