Lattice dynamics and inelastic neutron and synchrotron scattering cross-sections in Nd2CuO4

Description
Different shell models for Nd2CuO4 reproduce the phonon dispersion curves comparably well. Even though the photon frequencies are practically the same in the different models the phonon eigenvectors and thus the phonon spectra depend very sensitively on the shell model parameters. In this paper we compare theoretical neutron and synchrotron one-phonon scattering cross-sections. (Author)
