Description

We obtained an expression for the Coulomb logarithm for a dense semiclassical plasma based on momentum transport cross sections using an effective interaction potential. It was shown that for densities and temperatures corresponding to the dense semiclassical plasma our results are in good agreement with MD simulations. We applied the Coulomb logarithm for the calculation of the Dreicer field. The case of dense non-thermal Lorentzian semiclassical plasma was considered, too. (© 2022 Wiley‐VCH GmbH)
