Application and potential of synchrotrons in pharmaceutical research

A brief overview is presented of using synchrotron radiation in protein crystallography research. The expected results have potential application in non-steroid inflammation inhibitors and antiphlogistic drugs, like arachidonic acids, including enzyme actions of cyclo-oxygenase (COX), prostaglandines and synthetases (PGHS).
