The X-Ray Ordinance in the section 41 requires that all persons who handle X-ray equipment and possibly enter controlled areas - thus including dentists and their medical personnel - shall be instructed by the Radiation Protection Officer at least twice a year. The material presented by this volume of instruction units is intended as an aid for instruction, summarizing all the relevant information on legal requirements and practical prevention measures. Records are to be kept on the subjects and times of instruction, and are to be signed by the person instructed. These records are to be kept for five years and are to be submitted to the supervisory authority on request. A leaflet containing all necessary information in a nutshell is to be handed out to the person instructed, for use as a source of reference. (orig./HP) With 20 slides
Abstract (German)
Nach der Roentgenverordnung (RoeV) Paragraph 41 muessen alle Personen, die Roentgenstrahlen anwenden und sich dabei moeglicherweise in Kontrollbereichen aufhalten - also auch Zahnaerzte und deren Helfer und Helferinnen - mindestens halbjaehrlich vom zustaendigen Strahlenschutzverantwortlichen (RoeV Paragraph 11) belehrt werden. Die vorliegenden Texte und Bilder mit identischen Diapositiven dienen dazu, die Durchfuehrung dieser Belehrungen zu erleichtern, indem sie die wichtigsten Vorschriften und Regeln zusammenfassen und Hinweise fuer die praktische Durchfuehrung des Strahlenschutzes geben. Ueber Inhalt und Zeitpunkt der Belehrungen sind Aufzeichnungen zu fuehren und von den belehrten Personen zu unterzeichnen (RoeV Paragraph 41.2). Diese Aufzeichnungen muessen 5 Jahre lang aufbewahrt und auf Verlangen den zustaendigen Behoerden vorgezeigt werden. Zur bleibenden Unterrichtung sollte allen Belehrten eine Kurzinformation ausgehaendigt werden, die das Wichtigste dessen zusammenfasst, was sie sich merken muessen.
