Description
Charged particle tracking system in BESIII makes use of event occurrence time in various stages of track finding and fitting. Give a detail description and features about this information which is extracted from timing measurements in either Time of Flight (TOF) or Main Drift Chamber (MDC). Use MDC track and TOF information, MDC information these two methods to calculate the event start time in BESIII. Some preliminary results from some typical Monte Carlo simulation are presented, and this scheme works satisfactory in reconstructing Monte Carlo events. (authors)
