Study of tungsten wire after thermocycling in oil and oil free vacuum
Creators
Description
Chemical composition of tunsteg surface was studied by the Auger-, RPE-spectroscopy. Tungsten wires were subjected to thermocycling in vacuum. It is found, that W2C is formed on tungsten wire surface. Eutectoid decomposition of W2C leads to surface fracture
