Method and device for utilizing the heat produced in nuclear high-temperature reactors

Description

A two-loop facility is proposed in which the components of the He-cooled primary circuit and a gas-to-gas heat exchanger are contained within the prestressed-concrete reactor vessel whereas the closed-loop operated gas turbine is arranged outside the reactor vessel. By this means the cost of the HTR can be reduced. In addition the secondary circuit has got two intermediate coolers and three compressor stages between the l.p. and h.p. side. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Es wird eine Zweikreisanlage vorgeschlagen, bei der die Teile des Primaerkreises mit He und ein Gas-Gas-Waermetauscher innerhalb des Reaktor-Spannbehaelters angeordnet sind, waehrend sich die im geschlossenen Kreislauf betriebene Gasturbine ausserhalb des Spannbehaelters befindet. Damit lassen sich die Kosten des HTR senken. Der Sekundaerkreislauf weist zudem zwei Zwischenkuehler und drei Verdichterstufen zwischen Nieder- und Hochdruckseite auf. (DG)
