Dependence of radon anomalies on seismicity an other parameters in bad Brambach (Vogtland, Germany)

  • 1. Saxon Academy of Sciences at Leipzig (Germany)

Description

The radon activity in soil air and spring water was observed in an area with microseismicity for two years. The values of the radon soil air content depends on meteorological parameters. A first attempt to model the radon changes in soil air is discussed. Fluctuations of the radon concentration in spring water correlated often with earthquake effects. (author). 2 figs
