Efficiency of hot water accumulator using at NPPs with the WWER type reactors when they are taking part in electric load schedule control
Description
Prospects of using hot water accumulators (HWA) at NPPs with WWER type reactors operating under conditions of load schedule varying are analyzed. The thermal diagram of a NPP with high-pressure HWA is presented. This is advisable to be used for generating additional peak power up to 200 MW maximum at a NPP with the K-1000-1500/60-2 turbine. It is shown that additional peak load is equal to 60-130 MW when using HWA with accumulated water temperature of 130-180 deg C
