Synthesis and structure of cobalt (2), zinc and cadmium complexes with 6-ethoxy-2-(n-dimethylaminophenylimino) thioindoxyl

Description

Complex compounds Cd(NO3)2·2L, CoCl2·L and ZnCl2·L, where L -6-ethoxy-2-(n-dimethylaminophenylimino)thiandoxyl, were synthesized. Spectroscopic study of L and synthesized complexes, as well as X-ray diffraction analysis of Cd(NO3)2·2L were conducted. It was revealed that L molecule was bidentate and coordinated by metal ions by means of imine atom of nitrogen and oxygen atom of carbonyl group. Relationship between spectroscopic characteristics of L in free and coordinated states and structural parametes of complexes was established
