It is attempted to estimate dependence of metal solubility in tungsten on dimensional and electrochemical factors with account of crystal structure for it reflects peculiarities of electronic structure of elements and tendency of elements with certain electronic structure to crystallization in certain syngony. Critical values ΔR and ΔEsub(n) limiting formation of solid solutions on the base of bcc metals are stated to depend on the type of crystal lattice of the dissolved metal and to decrease under transition from bcc to hcp and fcc metals. It is stated that dependence of maximum solubility of elements in metals with fcc structure on dimensional and electrochemical factors is less evident and noticeable solubility is possible at ΔR and ΔEsub(n) values 2-6 time exceeding critical
