Temperature effect on boric acid solting out during organic solvent extraction from aqueous solutions of sulfates and chlorides

Description
Data on boric acid extraction by 2-ethylhexanol out of aqueous solutions in the presence of salting-out agents such as MgSO4, K2SO4, Na2SO4 at temperatures of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 deg C are presented. The salting-out ability of MgSO4 decreases with the temperature growth, i.e. Mg2+ behaives in sulphate systems in the same way as in chloride ones. It is found out that Na+ and K+ behaives differently in chloride and sulphate systems. The salting-out effect of cations decreases in the Mgsup(2+) > Nasup(+) > Ksup(+) series
