Search for flavor-changing neutral currents at the Z0

Description
In view of the hopefully large number of produced Z0 in the coming years with the advent of SLC and LEP, the experimental possibility of an ideal detector to separate events from expected Z0 decays into pairs of light and heavy quarks from the events from flavor changing neutral currents FCNC has been considered. Theoretical expectations for FCNC are very small in the standard model due to GIM cancellations, but could be larger (∼ 10-4) with very heavy quarks in supersymmetric models or in case of a fourth generation. Furthermore, there are predictions that CP violation is maximal in such systems. In this work high efficiency algorithm is sought to separate on global jet parameters the such events
