Use of thermal pressure coefficient in comparative analysis of crystal structures of metals and metal-like compounds
Description
The analysis of experimental data by temperature expansion coefficients (a) and volumetric compression modules (B) for the grounds metals has revealed the periodic nature of dependence of aB parameter on the number of the element. In this case the correlation between the value of volumetric compression module and the number of bond electrons per atom is observed which is true for metals not higher than the V group
