Description

The ferroelastic phase of a DMAAS single crystal is studied by the neutron diffraction method on a four-circle automatic diffractometer (λ=0.8457 A) at the Laue-Langevin Institute, Grenoble, France. The crystal structure of the ferroelastic phase is refined up to R=2.54%. It is established that the ferroelastic phase is characterized by the partial disorder of dimethyl ammonium cation over the positions of amine and methyl groups
