Automatic discarding device for radiation contaminated concrete

Description

The device comprises a self-running vehicle having a running means disposed on a base, a waste container disposed thereon, a means for recovering concrete fragments and containing them in the waste container, a transferring means for placing the recovered concrete fragments to a predetermined position for containing in the waste container, a means for controlling the movement of the self running vehicle, as well as driving, and controlling the recovering means and the transferring means and controlling the recovered concrete fragments so as to be contained in the waste container. The waste container comprises a plurality of vessels for every radiation contamination levels, and controls the movement of the self-running vehicle, and driving of the recovering means and the transferring means based on the position of radiation contaminated concrete surface on the X-Y ordinate and data of judging levels of the position depending on the concentration of the radiation contamination. Then, scraped concrete fragments are recovered and discarded automatically into the waste container by the control device, to eliminate requirement for the operation of recovering concrete fragments in a dangerous operation region.
